Research Focus
Grounded in a Foucauldian, poststructuralist approach to identity and power relations in educational contexts, my research examines how teachers exercise agency and how translanguaging pedagogies are reconfigured as generative AI is integrated into language classrooms.
Academic Background
PhD in Education (Language, Culture and Literacy) from Simon Fraser University (2022). With academic experience spanning Canada and Asia, I have published in journals including Applied Linguistics, System, Linguistics and Education, and Critical Inquiry in Language Studies.
